DROGARATI CAVE

Τhe cave of Drogarati is located 3 km from the center of Sami. It was discovered 300 years ago when an earthquake revealed its entrance, with its age reaching over 150 million years. Nature has created a unique work of sculpture from stalactites and stalagmites that can be admired by crossing its imposing path. The cave is also noted for its remarkable acoustics - the Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestra played in 2014 as well as big-name concerts - and most visitors experience it by singing acapella.

MELISSANI LAKE

Just a few kilometers away is the geological phenomenon of Lake Melissani. The lake cave is located 20m below the surface of the ground and consists of two chambers with water, one of which has a lowered roof that filters the light. The best time to visit it is at noon, since the sun is exactly from above and bathes the blue-green waters.

Myrtos beach is worldwide famous beach. Also It is considered of most famous beach of the island and one of its main attractions. It has white pebbles & blue waters due to the currents of the area. The beach has been awarded the blue flag[4] and has been named the best beach in Greece 11 times. It is 18 km from our location, i.e. half an hour by car
